Israel Orders Military Action Against Gaza Kites

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has directed the military to take decisive action against kites launched from Gaza, classifying such launches as acts of war following recent incidents where incendiary kites crossed into Israeli territory.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Sunday ordered the military to take decisive action against kites being launched from the Gaza Strip towards southern occupied territories in recent days.

In a statement, Gallant declared that the army must target individuals launching the kites, as well as Hamas officials responsible for these launches. He asserted, “We consider every launch an act of war.”

This directive comes after several kites flew from Gaza into occupied territories in recent days, causing no damage or casualties. Meanwhile, Israel continues its airstrikes, with the United States and regional countries reportedly seeking to advance a plan for Hamas disarmament and Israeli withdrawal.

In 2018, after incendiary kites and balloons were released from the Gaza Strip, causing fires in southern Israel, Israeli army aircraft fired at Palestinians launching these incendiary devices.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that since the ceasefire was established on October 11, the number of martyrs has reached 1,286, and the number of injured has risen to 4,257. Additionally, the bodies of 813 martyrs have been recovered from under rubble or various locations during this period.

According to statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, since the commencement of the Israeli regime’s war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has increased to 73,420, and the number of injured has reached 174,369.
