Iran Prepares for 50 Years of Future Threats, Says Acting Defense Minister
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran is meticulously preparing for the security challenges of the next half-century, according to Sardar Ibn al-Reza, the acting Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces.
Ibn al-Reza highlighted that extensive intelligence and technological data gathered on adversaries has provided a deeper understanding of their tactical patterns and operational methods. This experience, he noted, has prompted a reevaluation of priorities and focus areas, leading to a more precise charting of the future course.
The minister emphasized that enemy objectives have been thoroughly identified and assessed, with essential information disseminated to operational forces. He further stated that the armed forces, through precise calculations and objective management, successfully inflicted significant blows on the enemy.
Sardar Ibn al-Reza added that the Ministry of Defense, relying on its capable management, motivated personnel, and specialized experts, has placed future studies at the forefront of its agenda. The path ahead is being shaped by these comprehensive research initiatives.
He outlined that Iran’s strategic direction will prioritize the maximum utilization of national and domestic capacities. This approach aligns with the consistent emphasis of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, who underscored the importance of harnessing popular potential to its fullest extent.
The acting defense minister pointed to the recent conflict as a clear demonstration of the impact of this human capital, where a substantial portion of the capabilities deployed in the field were the result of the knowledge, experience, and expertise of these forces. He characterized Iran’s engagement in the conflict as asymmetrical and efficient, contrasting it with the significantly higher costs incurred by the adversary. The nation, he concluded, is actively preparing itself for the threats anticipated over the next fifty years.
