Palestinian Front Denounces Israeli Pretext of Kite Flying as Justification for Gaza Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that threats issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and military commanders are based on flimsy and manufactured pretexts. One such claim alleges that children flying kites in displacement areas and shelters in Gaza pose a threat to occupying forces.
The Democratic Front elaborated that the deliberate exaggeration of the kite issue by Netanyahu’s government, transforming a children’s game into a security threat, is a clear attempt to create a pretext to justify resuming aggression against the Gaza Strip. This maneuver aims to prepare Israeli and international public opinion for a new wave of intensified attacks, even as the occupying regime evades its commitments under the ceasefire agreement and uses Palestinian lives as a tool in the struggle for power and elections within the far-right Zionist movement.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine emphasized that designating children in Gaza’s refugee camps and shelters as a security target under the guise of kite-flying is a blatant insult to global public opinion and an effort to legitimize the continued targeting of a defenseless population ravaged by war, siege, and destruction.
