Hamas Warns of Escalating Settler Violence in West Bank and Jerusalem

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi has issued a grave warning about the escalating assaults by Israeli settlers targeting Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. Mardawi cited recent incidents including the destruction of homes and agricultural and industrial facilities in the Jordan Valley, as well as the arson of a factory north of Ramallah.
He emphasized that these attacks underscore the organized terrorism perpetrated by unbridled settler groups, acting under the auspices of the occupation government, which is grappling with security and field-level challenges. Mardawi asserted that these criminal acts will not succeed in their objective of displacing Palestinians and emptying the land of its original inhabitants through killing, arson, and the instillation of terror.
The Hamas leader declared that the occupying regime bears responsibility for the continuation of this dangerous escalation and its repercussions. He appealed to the international community to abandon its silence and weak responses, which he believes embolden the occupying regime and its settlers to persist and intensify their atrocities.
Furthermore, Mardawi urged Palestinians to strengthen their steadfastness and solidarity, activate all means of protection and resistance against settler attacks, and escalate their defiance against the occupying regime.
