Saudi Arabia Confirms Attack on ‘Amzann’ Oil Tanker in Red Sea

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabia‘s Maritime Transport Authority has confirmed an attack on the oil tanker ‘Amzann’ in the Red Sea. The authority acknowledged that the tanker experienced a security incident in the Red Sea. All crew members aboard the tanker are reported to be safe.
Earlier, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced that the Yemeni forces had successfully targeted the Saudi enemy’s ‘Amzann’ oil tanker with a ballistic missile in the northern Red Sea, off the coast of Yanbu. Saree described the attack as precise and direct, resulting in the vessel catching fire and causing several other ships in the vicinity to flee. This operation, he stated, is part of the armed forces’ decision to impose a maritime blockade on the Saudi enemy and to solidify the principle of siege in response to the blockade imposed on Yemen.
