Israeli Politician Slams Netanyahu’s Wife, Calling Her Alcoholic and Racist
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, political activist Shin Moshe Riedman, a leading voice in protests against the judicial overhaul in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s cabinet, has sharply criticized Sara Netanyahu and her children. Riedman’s remarks came in the context of security and protection for the Netanyahu family, a topic previously raised by Gadi Eisenkot.
Riedman, who recently secured the ninth position on the opposition party’s list in the Israeli Knesset, directly attacked Sara Netanyahu in writing. He stated, “She is an alcoholic, aggressive, and racist; a convicted criminal who is protected annually by the General Security Service (Shin Bet) with millions of shekels of our money.”
Riedman’s accusations appear to reference Sara Netanyahu’s 2019 conviction, which was part of a plea deal where she admitted to wrongdoing related to bribery charges stemming from the intentional misuse of another person’s error. Under this agreement, she confessed to the events detailed in the amended indictment.
The criticism also extended to Netanyahu’s son, Yair, whom Riedman described as “a lazy scumbag who is poisoning the public space and exploiting free food.”
These statements were made in the wake of criticism concerning the personal security and protection of the Netanyahu family, as presented by Gadi Eisenkot, the former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
