Russia Denies French Claims of Election Interference

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has vehemently denied claims made by French officials regarding alleged interference in the nation’s elections. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on Tuesday that the French report is “another anti-Russian fabrication.”
Zakharova further elaborated in a statement that French authorities are actively seeking to portray Russia as an adversary. This tactic, she suggested, is intended to shift responsibility for their own shortcomings and failures onto Moscow. The statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry represents a direct response to allegations previously put forth by a French official who claimed that Moscow was attempting to meddle in the upcoming Parisian elections.
