Trump Mocks Iran with Hypothetical ‘Strait of Trump’ Name Change

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again taken a stance against Iran, posting on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ on Wednesday.
Trump, whose political standing appears to be a significant concern for him ahead of the U.S. midterm elections, made a facetious claim, asking, “Now that we have it under American control, should we change the name of the ‘Strait of Hormuz’ to the ‘Strait of Trump’?”
Donald Trump then asserted, “Just like America itself, this [region] will be ‘hotter’ than ever!”
This instance follows previous occasions where Trump has made similar claims regarding territorial naming or ownership, including remarks about Greenland and Canada’s Lake Ontario, which previously drew negative global reactions.
