France Expresses Concern Over Yemen’s Attacks on Saudi Arabia

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the spokesperson for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that France is concerned about attacks by the Houthis, the Ansar Allah movement of Yemen, on Saudi Arabian soil.

This expression of concern by the French official comes as attacks by the Yemeni armed forces on Saudi Arabian oil and military facilities are being carried out for self-defense purposes.

Continuing his interview with Al Jazeera, the spokesperson for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs also addressed developments in Lebanon. He indicated that the Paris meeting would discuss the latest field developments in Lebanon and aid for the Lebanese army.

He added that discussions are underway regarding the period following the end of the United Nations peacekeeping forces’ mission in Lebanon, and that France is collaborating with its partners to examine ways to support the Lebanese government and army.
