Latvian President: Russian Military Stronger Than Before
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by Mehr News Agency, citing The Wall Street Journal, reports that Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs has commented that the conflict in Ukraine, which began in 2022, has not weakened the Russian military but has instead made it stronger.
He further added that the Russian military now possesses experience in conducting military operations and has demonstrated high flexibility and the ability to adapt to modern conflicts.
The war in Ukraine has strained relations between Russia and European countries. Moscow has accused Brussels and other European capitals of obstructing peace negotiations.
In 2022, Ukraine launched a special military operation in defense of ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine and in response to the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) towards its borders, an operation that continues to this day.
