China Obtains Sensitive F-35 Jet Components, Bloomberg Reports
China has reportedly gained access to potentially sensitive components of the F-35 fighter jet, according to Bloomberg, which cited sources familiar with the matter. The parts were rerouted to Hong Kong during transit from Australia to the United States.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China has reportedly obtained potentially sensitive parts of the F-35 fighter jet. Citing sources described as knowledgeable, Bloomberg News reported that the components, linked to the F-35 fighter, made an unexplained detour to Hong Kong while being transported from Australia to the United States.
The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) acknowledged being aware of the issue concerning a shipment that included unusable F-35 jet components, according to Bloomberg.
