Netanyahu Coalition Faces Declining Support in Latest Polls

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, results from the latest poll conducted by the Maariv newspaper, as reported by the Mehr News Agency and citing The Jerusalem Post, reveal a decrease in support for the coalition of parties backing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. If parliamentary elections were to be held under current conditions, the coalition would secure only 49 out of the 120 seats in the Knesset.

The survey indicates that the Likud party, led by Netanyahu, would still win 18 seats. Meanwhile, the “Yesh Atid” party, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, would gain 22 seats, representing a decrease of one seat.

This poll was conducted by Lazar Research in collaboration with Panel4all, with 610 participants. The margin of error for the results was announced as 4 percent.

The findings of this new poll were released following Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly. Despite Netanyahu’s efforts to influence public opinion during his address, his coalition appears to have lost further support.
