US House Democratic Leader Vows to End War Against Iran if Party Wins Midterms

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, emphasized that Democrats will persist in their endeavors to terminate the war against Iran if they achieve a win in the forthcoming November midterm elections. Jeffries had previously asserted that the reckless and costly war, launched against Iran by a previous decision, has met with failure and that the time has arrived for a radical change.

In his call to end his country’s warmongering against Iran, Jeffries stated, “Enough is enough; end this unnecessary and failed war of choice that the Republicans have initiated with regard to Iran.” He further stressed that “Operation Epic Defeat in Iran has been a disaster for the American people, and taxpayers’ dollars should be used to make the lives of Americans more affordable, not to continue another endless war in the Middle East.”
