Iran Controls Strait of Hormuz, Military Spokesman States
Iranian military spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi asserted that Iran holds control over the Strait of Hormuz, warning that any vessel deviating from Iranian routes will face security risks.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces, stated in a special news interview that Iran manages the Strait of Hormuz. He further warned that any ship attempting to pass outside of designated Iranian routes will not be secure.
