Iraqi Security Forces Eliminate ISIS Elements in Kirkuk Operation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Nahar, the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service announced that during a special security operation in Kirkuk province, Iraqi forces clashed with three remaining elements of the Daesh terrorist organization.

The operation took place in the Al-Toun Kubri area of Kirkuk between Iraqi security forces and Daesh elements. Consequently, two of the militants were killed, and the third individual was arrested.

The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service emphasized that the actions of the country’s forces against the remaining Daesh elements and their underground networks in Iraq are ongoing.

Following these clashes, Iraqi security forces were widely deployed throughout Kirkuk province.
