Iraqis Rally Against Iran Flight Halts Outside Najaf Airport

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in response to a call from Iraq’s Najaba Movement, a large crowd of Iraqis assembled in front of Najaf Airport to protest the halt of flights from Iran. The demonstration was organized in opposition to the authorities’ decision to suspend these flights.

Residents of Karbala also held a demonstration today, protesting the cessation of Iran-bound flights. They characterized the move as bowing to American pressure and a breach of Iraq’s national sovereignty.

Furthermore, widespread protests erupted in the city of Nasiriyah, Iraq. These demonstrations were held to object to the sanctions imposed by the United States against Iran and the resulting prohibition of flights to Iraq.
