According to the foreign policy reporter of Tasnim News Agency, Ali Iran’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bagheri Keni, who traveled to Beirut to meet and discuss with the Lebanese authorities, in his first meeting with Abdullah Bouhabib, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government, met and consulted.

During this meeting, discussions were held regarding the latest developments in bilateral, regional and international relations.

The purpose of this trip is to discuss bilateral relations with the Lebanese authorities as well as consult about Regional and international issues, especially the latest developments in Palestine.

Bagheri is also scheduled to meet with other Lebanese officials.

Earlier, the Acting Foreign Minister said about his trip to the countries of the region: I will probably make a trip to the countries of the region this week so that we can play our main role alongside the efforts of the countries of the region and other actors.

He stated: Iran has played a serious role in the field of resistance. Our serious effort, like the current of resistance, is to return stability and peace to the region, and stability and peace is by rejecting the occupation and aggression of the Zionists. He said: We hope that with the discussions we will have with the relevant authorities and officials of these countries and the resistance movement in these countries, we will pursue a serious synergy for an effective and fruitful confrontation with the crimes of the Zionists.
