Iran-Kenya economic commission will be held in the near future

The fifth meeting of the country's foreign economic relations coordination headquarters was held under the chairmanship of the economic deputy minister of foreign affairs, and it was announced that the seventh meeting of the joint commission for economic cooperation between Iran and Kenya will be held in the near future.

The meeting of the country’s foreign economic relations coordination headquarters was held this year with the recitation of the Fatiha for the martyrdom of the president of our country and the minister of foreign affairs and his companions, chaired by Mehdi Safari, the deputy of economic diplomacy of the ministry of foreign affairs, and with the presence of representatives of related organizations and institutions in this ministry.

Safari, at the beginning, referring to the unfortunate incident of the martyrdom of the late president of our country and his accompanying delegation, stressed the need to continue the growth of the country’s foreign economic relations during the remaining period of his activity. The 13th government emphasized and asked the representatives of the present institutions to continue doing the assigned tasks in the best possible way without interruption. He also considered the continuation of the 13th government’s neighborhood-oriented policies, improving relations with regional countries and strengthening participation in international economic organizations as the country’s most important current priorities, and called for the cooperation and support of all institutions in achieving this goal.

In this meeting, the latest status of the joint commissions for economic cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the countries of Vietnam, Kenya and Cuba was also discussed.

In the third part of the meeting, Issa Kameli, Director General of America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while explaining the latest status of economic relations with Cuba, gave a report on the process of preparing the meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation with This Latin American country presented early next month.
