A severe warning from the Lebanese official to the Zionist authorities
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Nashrah, “Ilyas Bousab”, the Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament emphasized: “We want to carry out a transparent investigation regarding the incident in Majdal Shams area located in the occupied Golan Heights of Syria.
He added: The mediators are in constant contact with us and are trying not to reach the stage of widespread tension. We are not looking for war, but the Zionists are trying to cover up the developments in Gaza by increasing the scope of tension.
Bosab added: Amos Hochstein, the US envoy to Lebanon, knows very well that in the shadow of the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip, it is difficult for the various parties to exercise restraint. Adherence to UN Resolution 1701 must be done by both sides, and its implementation will not be possible until the end of the war in the Gaza Strip.
He said: Lebanon is a unified and united country, and if Tel Aviv wants to expand the scope of its aggression, it will become more united. The Israeli side should know that war-mongering is not something that can bring the residents back to the northern regions.
This Lebanese official warned: If civilians or Beirut and its surroundings are targeted, we do not consider this action a calculated and limited reaction.
