Special training of Russian forces to shoot down Ukrainian F-16 fighters

According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the commander of the air defense system announced on Wednesday that the crew of this system have undergone special training to intercept and destroy Ukrainian F-16 fighters.

A Russian air defense officer said in an interview with “Sputnik” news agency: “Yes, we are fully prepared.” Basically, I don’t see any problem with this. We can easily deal with them. We can easily identify them by their characteristics and we can hit this plane. We have gone through full courses to deal with the F-16 and we are basically 100% ready.

Another senior air defense officer added: special air defense systems are designed to shoot down the F-16 fighter.
