EU Commission cuts eurozone growth forecast
The European Commission has downgraded its 2025 economic growth forecast for the eurozone from 1.3% in its autumn estimate to 0.9% in its spring projection.
According to webangah news Agency, the commission also revised its 2026 growth forecast downward from 1.6% to 1.4%. A similar trend appears for the entire EU, with 2025 growth projections falling from 1.5% to 1.1%, and the 2026 estimate declining from 1.8% to 1.5%.
