Tel Aviv Blocks ‘Freedom Flotilla’ from Approaching Gaza Strip
According to webangah News Agency, Zionist regime media outlets have reported that its security institutions have decided to prevent the Freedom Flotilla from reaching the Gaza Strip’s coastline.
The decision by Tel Aviv aligns with its years-long comprehensive blockade of Gaza.
Baptiste André, a French doctor aboard the flotilla, stated he was unsurprised by Tel Aviv’s move but emphasized such measures would not stop their mission. “We are prepared for all scenarios, including arrest by Zionist forces,” he said.
The flotilla includes 12 peace activists and human rights advocates of diverse European and international backgrounds aiming to break Gaza’s siege. Prominent figures onboard include Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, Irish actor Liam Cunningham, Palestinian-European Parliament member Rima Hassan, and civil society representatives from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, and Turkey.
