Warning Over Shutdown of Gaza Hospitals
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the Israeli military is blocking international organizations from accessing fuel reserves designated for hospitals, according to webangah News agency citing Al Jazeera.
The ministry warned this action will lead to a complete shutdown of medical facilities. Current fuel supplies in Gaza’s hospitals will only last three more days, adn without immediate intervention, the total collapse of the healthcare system is inevitable.
As Israeli attacks intensify, the ministry stated access to Al-Amal Hospital in khan Younis has become impossible after occupying forces declared its surroundings a ”perilous combat zone.” Authorities urgently requested international bodies to establish safe corridors for patient evacuations.
Gaza’s medical Relief Director told Al Jazeera all hospitals face critical shortages of equipment and medicine, threatening thousands of wounded civilians. He appealed for immediate medical aid deliveries,noting that northern Gaza hospitals are either completely destroyed or severely damaged beyond operational capacity.
