Israeli Negotiation Team Heads to Qatar Today
According to webangah News Agency, citing Qatari network Al Jazeera, the office of Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, confirmed that its negotiating team will depart for Doha on Sunday to discuss a Gaza ceasefire and prisoner exchanges.
The statement from Netanyahu’s office added: “We have received Hamas’ requested amendments to Qatar’s proposed deal, but these changes are unacceptable to us.”
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that according to the Zionist regime Prime Minister’s office statement, outstanding issues in negotiations with Hamas could still be resolved.
The assessment within Israel indicates remaining disagreements with Hamas in the negotiation framework are neither extensive nor basic, according to the report.
Yedioth Ahronoth noted this delegation’s departure coincides with Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to America in coming hours.
