Israeli Regime Maintains Operations in Southern Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Arabi Al Jadeed, an Israeli patrol team consisting of six military vehicles entered Sayda Hanout in western Daraa. during their incursion, they conducted a thorough search of a residential house before leaving the area. Together, disruptions occurred in communication networks and internet services.
Yesterday, another Israeli patrol composed of three vehicles infiltrated near the village of Kouya in the Yarmouk Basin region.
A local activist also reported that Israeli forces entered the villages of Ma’arriya and Abdeen in the same area but emphasized that no arrests were made during this raid.
The activist added that villagers gathered to confront the Israeli soldiers; though, no exchange of fire took place. The soldiers fired shots only toward those who threw stones at them.
It is indeed notable that Kouya village is located on the western outskirts of Daraa within the border triangle between Syria, Jordan, and occupied Palestine.
