Hamas Political Bureau Member: Resistance Against Occupiers Is Our Legitimate Right
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab, Hesham Badran, a member of hamas’s political bureau, stressed that the war in Gaza must come to a complete and clear end, with Israeli forces withdrawing from the area.
He added, “we welcome all proposals and plans without retreating from our firm positions. Resistance against the israeli occupiers is our legitimate right under international law.”
Earlier, Ziad al-Nakhala, secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, described the plan announced during the joint Trump-Netanyahu press conference at the White House as a U.S.-Israeli agreement that reflects Tel Aviv’s stance and serves as a blueprint for continuing aggression against the Palestinian people.
He said Israel aims to impose through America what it failed to achieve during its campaigns against Gaza. ”This plan is a recipe for igniting further conflict in the region,” he warned.
Last night at the White House, Netanyahu stated that Trump’s plan calls for fully disarming Hamas and securing the release of Israeli captives. He added that Gaza would be governed without Hamas or by the Palestinian Authority.
“The administration of Gaza by an international organization will permanently end warfare in this region,” Netanyahu said.
