Netanyahu Cabinet Approves Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Al-Mayadeen via mehr News Agency,the office of Benjamin Netanyahu,Israel’s Prime Minister,announced that his cabinet has agreed to a ceasefire deal in Gaza and the release of prisoners.
Hebrew media reported that following the cabinet’s approval,the Gaza ceasefire entered its implementation phase.
The netanyahu cabinet held a meeting moments earlier to discuss and approve the ceasefire agreement concerning Gaza.
News outlets confirmed that after Israel’s cabinet endorsed the ceasefire deal, Israeli attacks on Gaza ceased.
This comes after ongoing Israeli strikes on various parts of Gaza prior to the cabinet meeting, during which several Palestinians where killed or injured in one attack.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel was signed on Thursday afternoon in Sharm El-sheikh, Egypt.
