Around 2,000 Palestinian Prisoners Ready to Leave Israeli Prisons
Media reports indicate that nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners are preparing to leave Israeli detention centers.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Reuters reported that 1,966 Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release today under a prisoner exchange agreement with Israel have boarded designated buses inside Israeli jails.
The report also notes that approximately 250 prisoners serving life sentences or long-term jail terms are expected to be among those released.
Earlier reports indicated that Israel had manipulated the agreed-upon list of Palestinian prisoners coordinated with Hamas.
