Ukrainian Helicopter Troop Airlift Fails in Krasnoarmiisk
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Russia’s ministry of Defense announced it thwarted an attempted Ukrainian heliborne assault near Krasnoarmeysk.
The Russian Ministry of Defense statement read: “The attempt by special operations forces from the Main intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry to conduct a helicopter landing one kilometer northwest of Krasnoarmeysk was neutralized, resulting in 11 Ukrainian soldiers killed.”
The ministry also reported that Russian forces targeted energy facilities serving military industries and infrastructure at military airports.
Russian Western Army units reinforced their tactical positions while targeting encircled Ukrainian forces in Kobiansk.
The statement further noted the repulse of seven enemy attacks aimed at breaking the siege on Russian troops in Horlivka,Donetsk.
Additionally, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the destruction of a Ukrainian drone northwest of the Red Sea and noted continued advances by Russian troops north, east, and southeast of Dmytrivka in Donetsk.
