Secretive and Suspicious Movements of Leaders from the Dissolved Baath Party in Iraq

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maloumeh, a security source in Al Anbar province confirmed that a large-scale operation against supporters of the dissolved Baath Party has begun in the region.
The source added that recent intelligence revealed suspicious political movements by party leaders across various areas of Al Anbar. Based on this data, a comprehensive security operation was launched to pursue Baath Party supporters.
The source also stated that secret and confidential meetings have taken place in Al Anbar, with plans for further gatherings in other locations. Most party leaders are currently based in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah provinces.
Earlier, several prominent figures from this party were detained during Iraqi security operations carried out across different regions, including Al Anbar.
