Putin: Fake News Is Enemy’s Weapon Against Russia
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that fake and misleading news has become one of the enemies’ tools to harm Russia.
Putin stated that Western intelligence agencies’ documents explicitly reveal a goal to “destabilize Russia from within.”
He emphasized the need to strengthen internal unity, saying, “We must do everything possible to reinforce society and an inclusive Russian identity.”
Warning that “Western intelligence services are trying to weaken Russia’s stability by fueling ethnic and religious tensions,” Putin added, “There are no minor conflicts among ethnic groups here [in Russia], and all issues must be addressed swiftly and professionally.”
