Russians Seize Control of a Village in Zaporizhzhia Region
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, Russian sources have confirmed ongoing victories for their military in battles against Ukrainian forces.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the settlement of Ospenovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The ministry stated that Russian armed forces have completed freeing Ospenovka in Zaporizhzhia.
It also reported 45 failed attempts by Kyiv to evacuate their encircled troops in Krasnoarmeysk and detailed continued destruction of ukrainian forces around Kupiansk.
The ministry’s statement read: “Our forces destroyed the assembly point of encircled Ukrainian units near Kupiansk. We also crushed Ukrainian troops in Krasnoarmeysk and cleared the settlements of Henatovka and Rog.”
Additionally, it noted sustained Russian advances deep into Ukraine’s defensive positions, with 1,695 enemy combatants killed over the past seven days.
