Tel Aviv-Linked Militant Group Moves in Rafah

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ma’an, the Zionist Kan network reported that mercenary elements from the Abu Shabab group, affiliated with the Zionist regime, will take control of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
The report states that this area is currently occupied by Israeli soldiers and, with Tel Aviv’s approval, these group members will assume control.
The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported coordination between U.S.military commanders stationed at Kiryat Gat in central occupied territories and armed mercenaries-including Abu Shabab militants-in eastern Rafah is ongoing.
The report adds that besides Abu Shabab mercenaries, armed elements affiliated with Hussam al-Astal in Khan Yunis are also involved in these arrangements.
Israel Hayom further noted that al-Astal’s group receives arms support coordinated with Zionist authorities. This effort aligns with U.S. measures to pave the way for establishing a Washington- and Tel Aviv-dependent local authority in Gaza.
The objective of organizing these aligned militant groups is to counter resistance forces while creating chaos and instability throughout Gaza.
The report concludes that Washington views these mercenaries as a temporary substitute for international forces inside Gaza.
