Russia: Moscow Ready to Talk If Ukraine Shows Political Will

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, alexey Ivanov, Russia’s chargé d’affaires in Turkey, announced today, Wednesday, that moscow is prepared to resume talks with Ukraine in Istanbul. however, Kyiv has yet to respond to previous proposals.
Speaking to TASS news agency, Ivanov said the Russian side has repeatedly emphasized its readiness for direct negotiations with Ukraine. He added that their Turkish partners have consistently stressed that the Istanbul framework remains available - “the doors are still open.”
Ivanov noted that Russia has previously offered several plans, including a proposal to establish three online working groups. Unluckily, he said, no positive response has been received from Ukraine so far.
He concluded by saying Moscow remains ready for dialogue ”if Kyiv demonstrates political will.”
