Kremlin Responds to Europe’s Preparation for War with Russia

Moscow has observed Europe gearing up for war against Russia, with a prevailing atmosphere of militarization across the continent, Dmitry Peskov, Russia’s presidential spokesman, said in a statement on Wednesday.
Peskov added that European countries are increasing their military budgets at the expense of their economies. He warned that this rise in defence spending would heavily strain European economies and lead to even more serious consequences.
He emphasized that Moscow has long been aware of Europe’s preparation for conflict with Russia and confirmed that all necessary security measures have already been implemented.
This comes as Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić referenced remarks by French Army Chief General Fabien Mandon, who underscored the need for French forces to prepare for possible confrontation with Russia within the next three to four years. Vučić stated that after reviewing current realities, he increasingly believes the likelihood of war between Europe and Russia is growing day by day.
