Putin’s Aide Addresses Current Issues in Russia-US Relations

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, stated Wednesday that problems in Russia-US relations are not being resolved at the pace anticipated.
The presidential aide added, “I cannot say there is a pause in interactions between Russia and the United States, but currently there is no important news either. Contacts between Russia and the US continue at various levels.”
Earlier today, dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian presidency, issued a statement asserting that Moscow observes Europe gearing up for war against russia. He described Europe’s atmosphere as militarized. European countries are increasing their military budgets despite damaging their own economies.
