Jordan Makes Military Service Compulsory to Counter Israeli Threats

Amid increasing‍ threats from the Zionist regime against regional countries, the Jordanian Parliament‍ has approved the reinstatement‌ of compulsory military service ‌in the country.

According to the‌ English section‌ of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News⁢ Agency and Sputnik, jordan’s parliament has passed a draft bill ‍submitted⁣ by the government to reinstate mandatory military service ⁤for Jordanian​ citizens.

The​ law was approved during yesterday’s⁤ parliamentary session attended ‌by ⁤Prime Minister‌ Bisher Al-Khasawneh ⁣and members‌ of his⁣ cabinet. Implementation measures are scheduled⁣ to begin next February.

amin ⁤Mashaqbeh, ⁢former Jordanian minister and⁣ political analyst, emphasized that‍ compulsory military service is ​a necessary​ step amid existing security threats, especially due to expansionist ambitions ⁢by the Zionist ‍regime.

Mashaqbeh added that this policy had been suspended since 1991⁢ but growing threats from the Zionist regime toward the region-especially ⁢increased settlement ​activities-prompted ‍reconsideration of its​ reinstatement.
