Pakistan: Eight Militants Killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Pakistan‌ announced that eight militants​ were killed in an operation against armed groups in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province along ‌the Afghan border.

According to the English section of webangah News ​Agency, citing Mehr News​ Agency and Anadolu Agency, Pakistan⁢ Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations ⁣(ISPR) stated ⁢that an operation based on intelligence was conducted in the Bannu area of⁢ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,⁤ resulting in the ⁣deaths of eight militants.

The ISPR ​statement added that a ‌large cache of weapons⁢ and ammunition was discovered during the‌ operation. This highlights a meaningful​ focus on intelligence-driven activities‍ in the region and strengthens cooperation‍ among security forces.

Earlier, Pakistan’s military reported killing 20 militants on ⁣November ‍10 and ​30 militants on November 20.

It is noteworthy that armed attacks⁣ have been concentrated mainly in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, ‌both bordering Afghanistan.
