According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Al Masirah via Mehr News Agency, thousands of Yemenis gathered in Sabaeen Square in Sana’a to mark the 58th anniversary of the final British evacuation from Aden-known locally as “Eid al-Jala’a” or “Independence Day.” The exhibition responded to a call by Sayyed abdul-Malik Badruddin al-houthi, leader of the Ansar Allah movement.
The final statement issued at this rally, titled “Our Right to Choose and the Occupier is Doomed,” expressed congratulations to their leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi,President Mahdi al-mashat,and all Yemenis on Independence Day. It reaffirmed a steadfast commitment to uphold Islam and jihad just as their revered ancestors-the Ansar-once did.
The statement stressed Yemen’s continued resilience and preparedness for upcoming confrontations with enemies and their collaborators on military and security fronts. It also highlighted plans for official events, public activities, and mass mobilization. The declaration vowed no retreat from just positions nor abandonment of oppressed peoples in palestine, Lebanon, or elsewhere within their community.
The Yemeni demonstrators declared that alongside commemorating November 30th, thay send a clear message to all oppressors worldwide: destruction is an inevitable fate for any occupier regardless of how long they persist. They urged oppressed nations that with determination rooted in faith in God alone, great victories are achievable.
