Bodies of 10,000 Palestinian Martyrs Remain Under Gaza Rubble
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab, Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defence, stated that efforts to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from beneath the rubble have so far been unsuccessful.
He added: “No specialized equipment has entered Gaza to recover martyrs’ bodies or clear debris. We are currently operating with only one machine. After completing work in central and southern areas, we will move on to Gaza City and northern regions.”
Basal emphasized: “One machine alone is absolutely insufficient for debris removal. Approximately 10,000 bodies still remain beneath the ruins caused by Israeli regime attacks on Gaza.”
this comes despite a ceasefire agreement under which Israel was supposed to allow entry of heavy machinery into Gaza for clearing operations.
