NATO Chief: Allies Must Boost Arms Aid to Ukraine for Lasting Peace

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte stated on Tuesday that the alliance is united in its efforts to achieve a lasting and just peace to end the war in Ukraine. Rutte strongly condemned Russia’s ongoing attacks targeting Ukrainian infrastructure, asserting that they cannot be ignored.
Rutte emphasized the importance of collaboration among allies to ensure the security of their populations. He expressed his expectation that NATO members would increase their support for Ukraine through the procurement of American-made weapons.
Furthermore, Rutte highlighted NATO’s cooperation with Ukraine in drone production. He voiced support for the United States’ endeavors to bring an end to the conflict in Ukraine, expressing confidence that these efforts would restore peace to Europe. Rutte also affirmed the alliance’s resolve to prevent Russia from reigniting the war in Ukraine.
