Israeli Forces Open Fire on Syrian Homes in Quneitra

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources report renewed activity by Israeli forces in southern Syria. Local sources stated that an Israeli military patrol fired upon civilian homes in the village of Abu Qubeis, located in the Quneitra countryside.
A reporter from Al-Ekhbariya also reported that an occupying patrol consisting of two military vehicles entered the village of Umm al-Azam, also in the Quneitra countryside. The previous day, Syrian sources indicated that seven military vehicles and personnel carriers belonging to the Israeli military had entered the town of Bir Ajam and the village of Ruwayhinah in the central Quneitra countryside.
These sources added that a group of Israeli soldiers patrolled north of the Koudna Dam near Ain Ziwan in the southern Quneitra countryside. Since the fall of the former Syrian government, Israel has launched extensive attacks on Syria, including a recent bombing of areas in Damascus under the pretext of protecting the Druze population.
Since the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Israeli military has reportedly crossed the demarcation line between the occupied Golan Heights and Syria to continue occupying areas near the Golan in the Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
