Yemen Frees Crew of ‘Eternity C’ Ship After Houthi Missile Strike

The crew of the ‘Eternity C’ ship, seized by Yemeni forces in July 2025 during an operation supporting Gaza, have been released following Omani mediation. A plane transported them from Sanaa to Muscat.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the crew of the ‘Eternity C’ ship, which was targeted by Yemeni armed forces on July 7, 2025, in support of Gaza and the naval siege of the Israeli regime in the southern Red Sea, have been freed. The release was facilitated by mediation from the Sultanate of Oman, and a plane transferred the crew members from Sanaa to Muscat.

Yemeni armed forces issued a press statement at the time, declaring that their naval unit had targeted the ‘Eternity C,’ which was en route to the port of Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine. The statement emphasized the action was in support of the Palestinian people and their fighters.

Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, noted that the operation involved an unmanned boat and six cruise and ballistic missiles, resulting in the complete sinking of the ship. Audio and video documentation of the operation was recorded.

In a separate report, a Al-Masirah correspondent in Sanaa stated that an Omani aircraft transported dozens of patients, injured individuals, and Yemenis stranded abroad back to the country.
