U.S. Military Conducts Maritime Operation Against Tanker Near Venezuela, Video Released
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, video footage has emerged depicting U.S. military forces engaging in what has been described as a maritime operation against a tanker in close proximity to Venezuelan waters.
Pamela Bondi, the U.S. Attorney General, reportedly released the video, which appears to show U.S. military personnel on the deck of a tanker during the operation.
Bondi claimed the tanker had been subject to U.S. sanctions for several years.
Sources speaking to Bloomberg indicated that U.S. forces intercepted a sanctioned tanker off the Venezuelan coast.
Donald Trump, the U.S. President, previously stated that Washington would soon release images of the tanker seized by American forces near Venezuela.
Venezuela has condemned the action, branding it as piracy.
