Putin and Erdoğan Discuss Ukraine, Asset Seizure in Turkmenistan Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met on the sidelines of the International Conference on Peace and Trust in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, to discuss bilateral relations and the ongoing situation in Ukraine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey convened in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, during the International Conference on Peace and Trust.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the two leaders addressed not only bilateral cooperation and mutual interests but also the situation in Ukraine and European efforts to seize Russian assets.

Peskov added that both heads of state view these European actions as an attempt to undermine the foundations of the international financial system.
