Russia and US Condemn Deadly Hanukkah Shooting in Australia
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio have both condemned the deadly shooting in Sydney, Australia, that occurred during Hanukkah celebrations.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, has reacted to the deadly shooting incident in Sydney, Australia. She stated that Moscow is closely monitoring events in Australia, calling the shooting of innocent people during a religious holiday a “terrible tragedy.”
Zakharova added that Russian diplomats in Sydney are in contact with local authorities to determine if any Russian citizens were among the victims.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also condemned the attack, asserting that “there is no place for anti-Semitism in this world.”
