The United Nations reports at least 104 people, including 43 children, have died in drone attacks in Sudan’s Kordofan region since December 4. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has expressed concern about escalating conflict between the army, Rapid Support Forces, and Sudan Liberation Movement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Nations has reported that at least 104 people, including 43 children, have been killed in various drone attacks in Sudan’s Kordofan state since December 4.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has expressed concern about the escalating conflict in Kordofan between forces affiliated with the army, Rapid Support Forces, and the Sudan Liberation Movement.

While not identifying the perpetrators of the drone attacks in Kordofan, the Commissioner noted that the strikes targeted hospitals, a UN base, and a kindergarten.

It is noted that the Rapid Support Forces have been advancing from the east in the oil-rich Kordofan region. These forces had previously seized control of Al-Fasher, the last stronghold of the Sudanese army in Darfur.
