Israeli Military Destroys Homes in Khan Younis Amid Escalating Gaza Crisis

Israeli forces have demolished homes in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, as Palestinian sources report ongoing brutal actions, while UNRWA warns of the dire humanitarian situation and Gaza’s forensic teams struggle to process unidentified bodies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military forces have carried out the destruction of homes in the southeastern area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, as reported by Palestinian sources. The ongoing aggressive measures by the Zionist regime continue to draw condemnation.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has issued a severe warning about the dangerous conditions in Gaza, highlighting the escalating humanitarian crisis.

In a related development, Mahmoud Ashour, a spokesperson for Gaza’s forensic department, announced that another body among those delivered by the International Committee of the Red Cross from the Zionist regime’s military has been identified. With this latest identification, the total number of identified bodies has reached 101 out of 345.

Ashour emphasized that despite extremely challenging and complex conditions, forensic teams continue their efforts to identify the remaining bodies. He pointed to a severe shortage of specialized equipment and called on international and humanitarian organizations to pressure for the import of necessary technical and laboratory tools to expedite the identification process.

He stressed that this effort not only clarifies the fate of the missing but also allows families to provide a dignified and humane burial for the martyrs. Ashour warned that continued restrictions and lack of equipment prolong the families’ suffering and pose serious challenges to the humane handling of the martyrs’ bodies.
