Israel Begins Construction of 500-Kilometer Security Wall Along Jordanian Border

The Israeli regime has initiated the construction of a 500-kilometer security barrier along its eastern border, stretching from the southern Golan to northern Eilat, with an estimated budget of $1.7 billion.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime has commenced the construction of a 500-kilometer security wall along its eastern border with Jordan. The project, estimated to cost $1.7 billion, will span from the southern Golan region to northern Eilat.

The first phase of the project involves building two sections totaling approximately 80 kilometers in the Marag and Aghwar regions. A new military force will also be established to secure the Aghwar and Dead Sea areas.

This move follows Israel’s construction of similar barriers along the West Bank and Gaza borders, whose security claims were exposed as ineffective during the October 7th operations.
