Iran Showcases Strong Presence at 49th Baghdad International Trade Fair

Iran’s ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadegh, attended the opening ceremony of the 49th Baghdad International Trade Fair, where 62 Iranian companies are participating across various sectors.

According to the Economic Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadegh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, participated in the opening ceremony of the 49th Baghdad International Trade Fair. The event was attended by Iraqi government officials, foreign ambassadors, traders, and investors.

During the fair, Al Sadegh visited the Islamic Republic of Iran’s pavilion and held discussions with managers and representatives of participating companies. The delegation included the Director General of the West Asia Office of the Trade Development Organization, economic attachés, and other officials.

Al Sadegh also toured Iraq’s pavilion in Hall 5 and visited the booth of the Iraqi Industries Union. The Iranian pavilion, spanning 1,200 square meters in Halls 7 and 2 of the exhibition, features 62 companies from sectors such as petrochemicals, steel, food products, construction materials, industrial machinery, and agricultural equipment.

The 49th Baghdad International Trade Fair, inaugurated by Iraq’s Minister of Commerce, Atheer Dawood Al-Ghurairi, runs from February 1 to 7, with participation from 36 countries and over 1,100 local, regional, and international companies.
